Ralf Dolata's 'Red Devil'. All parts are drawn on the pc and converted to files for a CNC mill by Ralf, a friend then mills the parts for him, including the wheels. The spokes are rounded with sandpaper, over 4 hours per wheel. The tender body is worked with 0,8 and 0,5 mm brass sheet by hand. He makes most of the fittings himself.

Trevor Marshall’s 1:48 scale, two-foot gauge model railway, the layout is still in very early stages.
The first two sections are under construction, forming a layout two feet deep by 12 feet long. These sections represent the quarry, sheds and other workings of a slate finishing company in western Maine, USA.
The layout, when finished, will occupy a 14-foot by 16-foot room.
